Car accident/whiplash? |
two years ago my friend was involved in a car accidnet where she was at fault and had no insurance. she is now being sued by the lady for whiplash. there was only $1,200 worth of damage done to the other lady's car. the lady is also suing her own insurance company b/c they are not paying her for the uninsured motorist coverage that she had been paying into. any advice for my friend? what kind of judgement (if any) does it sound like the other lady might be awarded. she (my friend) has an attorney, but im not sure what i can do or say to help her. thanks!! If she has an attorney, let them handle it - we're amateurs here. The lady waited 2 years to sue? Wow. My opinion is when the accident occured, she was fairing well financially and now she is not and wants money. let her attorney handle it, i was the victim of a rearending where the other lady was at fault, and am in the process of suing. whiplash can be detramental to a person, mine happened almost a month ago and i still find myself in bad pain.
