Is it in my best interest to report this accident to the police? |
This morning I got into a car accident. Well, it was more of a fender bender. Anyways, the short story is that it was my fault and the other party鈥檚 car was physically damaged, but it was drivable and we both drove away from the scene. A police report should always be made at the scene. Depends on the laws in your state. In most states, you are required to report any accident in which there is any injury or any damage over a certain dollar amount. If in doubt, just report it, it can't hurt. Yes.
