I need help!!!!! Help me decide wether to keep my car or not?

Okay I recently got into an accident, cargo van hit me he changed to my lane out of nowere he did;nt bother to put any blinkers or nothing, but now witnesses say it was my fault and that I was inback of the van, idk why? I had full coverange insurance before but then, canceled it , well actually my mom did I was under her name , so that was about 5 months ago or so now A day before accident I got liability insurance only covering the other car not mine, I still owe 10,000 on my car, so idk the police report is tottaly wrong saying I HIT THE CAR which is stupid but whatever I will go to court to fight that but now I am stuck without a car, I need a car for work, idk whats going to happen my car is getting towed here tomorow, after a week of the accident I was thinking parting out my car and get money to buy a 2,000 dollar car or somthing, and still pay my car payments, or fix my car myself, but i have no idea what is going to happen with this whole deal IDK WHAT TO DO I need major help

here is the pics of my car

I spinned all the way to the other side of the high way when the van hit me

YOu can't part out a car someone else ownes; and that 10 k balance makes them the owner. Time for a high mileage junker while you sort things out.
