New cohabiting laws, what will happen if she drags it on till then? |
me and my ex split last year, she is still living in my house as i do not want my children to be homeless, i still pay the mortgage and until feb payed every bill for them, unfortunately i put her name on the mortgage as the consequences were not explained to me when i bought the house, i put a hefty deposit down from my own money and have worked hard to pay for it all ever since inc bills and insurance, she has never made any financial contribution to anything we had and even had my money paid to her cos she didnt want to work, what would happen if she dragged it on until the new laws came in? would she be able to claim off me under the new laws, i have offered her very generous settlements but she will not listen or accept any of them and i can only assume that she is waiting to get even more once the law changes, i understand we have children and id never see them without but i need a home for them too, iv worked hard 4 ten yrs and cant believe someone can just take it all away ..?? I don't know what new law you're taking about, which is probably (in part, at least) because you didn't state where you live, so where is that? Maybe You should google it at first hand ,nevertheless, if you like some direct resource ,here should be helpful.http://home-insurance.featured-resources... |
