Ontario Driving - No Insurance? |
I was pulled over yesterday and given a ticket for failure to provide insurance documents. The police officer said they would not charge me for not having any insurance if I brought in my insurance slip to them in 48 hours. My insurance is expired and I am going to buy a new policy today. Yes they can -- insurance has dates on it. when you bring your insurance papers as proof - the effective date will be after the fact you received your ticket. You will need to pay the fine. |
