WHY IS medical INSURANCE SO EXPENSIVE IN America?

Sadly, the quality of US medical care is ranked as 34 1/2 in the world. Only 1/2 point above Mexico which is ranked as 35 th.

Also sadly, US medical care is ranked as the most expensive system in the world. It cost US consumers more to obtain medical care than the rest of the nations in the world.

The reason is the Medical Care Profession is making a huge profit from the US system. To protect their profits, they spend the second largest amount of money on lobbying congress and contributing to campaigns of politicians of any industry.

The best medical care is in Northern Europe where the European governments spend far less to provide total care for their populations, than the US citizens spend collectively for medical care.

You really want to know?
A. Medical Insurance pays for everything which is expensive. If it was just allowed to pay for catistrophic care instead of every single visit to the doctor for sniffles or vaccines then it would be cheaper. Take this as an analogy: Car insurance is cheap because it does not pay for maint. or tires or oil changes and thus the costs for those items are market driven. Because insurance (health) pays for everything the services are thus artificualy hight causing the premiums to be high.
B. Lawsuits by trial lawyers who are sue happy. Medical Malpractice insurance is extremely high to the tune of allmost 200 grand depending on the practice.
c. The govt has entered the market with some socialized plans thus shrinking the pool of potential customers to help keep the premiums down.
d. illigal aliens not paying their bills.
e. Too many citizens such as gang members getting free healthcare after they are shot.
F. Did i mention lawyers yet? If not I just did.

There you go that is a list of reasons for it.

You see when people have the ability to choose what type of coverage they want the insurance complanies can set up coverages that meet the needs of the customer but govt regulations dictate that insurances companies do not have the ability to just sell basic coverage without all the extra stuff.


Note: We are not the 34th ranked country in the world despite what the rankings say. We are ranked 34th according to them because not everyone recieves EQUAL care. Rich people get better care but poor people still get GOOD care. The ranking authority has a socialist agenda and support govt health care covrage. If socialiazed or universal healthcare so good then why do people come from Canada to get done what they can not in Canada? People come from all over the world to get coverage here because America is the inovator of most new techniques and we do have the best hospitals.

I just love how it's always "a socialist agenda" as a reason for the high costs.

the high cost of health care is greed, profiteering on peoples lives is wrong many other county's have found that out many years ago and instead of having huge Army's they try to take care of there own with universal health care.

Because:
1) It is the best most advance care in the world.
2) Lawyers sue doctors all the time for anything and win $$$$$$$$$$$
3) Access to the most modern equipment ad drugs
4) The Federal Government does not subsidize the doctors and hospitals like most countries do thru tax doolars
5) People are free to abuse the system by going to the docotr for anything
6) Uninsured going to hospital, we all have to pay for them
7) Illegal aliens ripping us off
8) forced coverage for abortions, viagra, and sex change operations

lawyers.........Do you think the huge settlements that Pharma companies is just written off, nope its passed along to consumers. Do you think the malpractice suits are written off by doctors and insurers?
Who invest the millions of dollars to develop a new machine to diagnose our illnesses,

Because the federal government says that insurance companies have to report a profit every year. So to do that they charge you outrageous premiums with high deductibles and deny almost every claim presented to them.
