What is the law for insurance companies to send the bills out? |
just got a bill sent to me that is over 3 years old. should i pay it. i never got the bill until the other day. 1st, depends on the type of insurance (health, auto, life, some other liability). Next, what was the bill for? (back payments, premiums, etc.) Finally, what type of policy was it ? If it was a liability policy then was the policy a claims made or an occurrence policy? The answer to each of the questions will make a difference in the ultimate response to your question. Good luck. |
