Verbal threat on a Teen by an Adult? |
Our son was involved in a minor accidnt on the school parking lot. No damage was noted on the vehicles. Later that day, the kids were told by the school officer to exchange insurance info...the other person refused to provide info. The person that hit him later claimed damage to her hood, grill, and fender which we learned after they had filed with our insurance company. there is a fine line when it comes to this sort of thing. If he threatens ANY type of bodily harm then it is considered a criminal threat and they CAN press charges. Make sure that you save that voice mail!! thats also a threat, not just verbal abuse. Consult a lawyer before you make a move. I'm sure that it would be difficult for the CEO to somewhow get out of punishment for verbal and a threat for physical abuse. if this is a CEO of large company I am sure that the media would love to get hold of that message he left.. I was get the media involved I am sure that make him steemed but a nice way to get back at him. you should definatly tell the police. tell him that if he doesnt stop bothering you that you will press charges, and there will be many consequences. if he calls back tell him you recorded his first message and if he doesn't leave you and your son alone he should be expecting you to bring charges against him and exposing him to his peers at his place of employment ! I'd follow up with a restraining order. Annie get your gun? get a restraing order...... or just hire a hit man. |
