Auto accident fair settlement? |
I was in an auto accident that was NOT my fault last August. An 18yr old kid talking on his cell phone pulled out in front of me. So far his insurance paid the $4000++ to have my car fixed. Two weeks of rental car. I have $1300 in Doctor bills that my policy as part of my policy is paying up until $2000. When we settle they get the $2000 first. I just finished physical therapy and they (the therapy place) are going to wait on the settlement to get paid. Having never been in an accident I do not know what to expect. I am going to have to settle soon as when that $2000 limit hits I will have to pay the doctor bills and I cannot afford it. It has made my pre-existing conditions worse forever. doc has stated this in letter. Off you go to the personal injury lawyers that love this sort of thing, don't agree to anything with either insurance company, let him earn his keep. get a lawyer and sue the hell out of this kid. |
