First ticket, clean record, how do i ask for traffic school if it is not offered to me? |
I recieved my 1st ticket yesterday, and i have a clean record and i have been driving for close to six months. I dont want this to affect my insurance, and the cop mentioned something about in six months if i havnt gotten a ticket this one will go away. How do i find out what to do about that and when i am at the court if they dont mention anything about that or any other programs or classes i can take to get this off my record what do i do?? Call traffic court and ask how to get the traffic safety school to get the points off your record. You can only do that once every so many years, so make sure you don't get any new tickets anytime soon.. :) Your insurance company will eat you alive! Just wait until they send the note in the mail. It will tell you everything you have to do. What kind of ticket was it? if it was a moving violation then u can take traffic school to have it not effect your insurance. If it isnt a moving violation then dont worry about it If you have not taken a traffic school recently; there will be infomation about taking a class when you get your ticket in the mail.
