License taken for 24 over the speed limit in Georgia? |
I have a friend who got caught driving at 69 in a 45 so she definitely has a large fine and her insurance might drop her because she's only 17 (turning 18 really soon) It sounds like they already sentenced her; I don't think she can change her plea now. Traffic courts are very corrupt ! Here in North Las Vegas, you can pay an extra fee, over the fine and have a moving violation reduced to a parking ticket. That way bad drivers can pay so points don't show up on their license. It's a joke !!!! Evidently, the court only wants revenue, not safer roads. When your caught speeding the judge automatically charges you guilty. I asked a judge why he let others off but fined me and he told me that you're automatically guilty. I'd think she's already pleaded out and Been sentenced; doubtful she can change a plea after a sentencing |
