What should i do if my friend takes me to court? |
6 months ago my roomates girlfriend was parked in my drive way while it was snowing. when i got home i attempted to pull up my driveway and my car lost traction and slid into hers causing minor damadge. we had most of the car repaired xcept for a mounting bracket and a small area needed to be painted. i gave her 150.00 dollars to get the rest fixed and she never did. now she is threatening to take me to court.we didn't go through insurance and we never called the police so there is nothing opn record to prove that the accident even happed. should i get an attorney? IF there is NO evidence ... why worry ? She can't prove anything ! I would give her more damage to her car in front of her. Get your girlfriend to kick her butt. no, judge marilyn will sort it out, try to get proof that you gave her $150. witness or email discussing it |
