A 15 year old drove a car and injured a person. What can she get?

Here is the story.
It was Thursday at night. A guy was standing by the store's wall.
There were 2 girls (friends): 17 year old with driver's license and a 15 year old without a driver's license or permit.
The 17 year old decided that she will let the 15 year old girl practice driving on a store's parking lot.
The 17 year old was not in the car with her. She had insurance.
The 15 year old drove into the guy that was standing by the store's wall. He injured his leg (6 weeks in the hospital, possible amputation of his leg).

So here are my questions:
- Who is going to pay his medical bills, 17 or 15 year old?
- What can happen to them? (like driver's license taken away etc.)
A court will take care of it but I want to know what they can do to them

thanks

Sorry
The state is Illinois

In many states the parents of both are going to end up paying the medical bills. Because insurance will not cover an accident where the owner knowingly consents to an unlicensed driver getting behind the wheel. And they are going to be very lucky if this debt isnt attached to their homes and property. What could happen to them depends on the exact charges but Id say its safe to state they wont be driving anywhere for atleast a couple years and will have huge fines to pay along with probation and possibly community service. Although they could be sentenced to serve time as well.

Well, The insurance of the 17 year old will probably end up paying for the damages because the 15 year old is not insured and it was approved by the 17 year old. the punishment? The 15 year old could possibly be prevented from getting a license until 18. The 17 year old could get a license suspension. But that could all depend on the 17 year old's record. Will they go to Juvenile hall? Probably not because it wasn't a felony.

As always, without knowing what state (or country) this happened in, all answers are general rules that may not apply to your location. The 17 year old can lose their license. The 15 year old will not be allowed to get a permit at the normal time, probably not before age 21. Insurance will NOT cover an unlicensed driver. BOTH the 15 year old AND the 17 year old are personally liable. The parents may of may not be liable under the law.

the 15 year old was driving her car or not she will be held for medical on the guy she hit,I'm unsure about the car because i dont about the insurance, she will probably be put on probation and may not even be able to get her license, and if she was my child she would be getting her *** beat daily til i got over it,the best thing you can do is get a attorney it sounds like she is going to need one

Who is going to pay his medical bills, 17 or 15 year old?
PROBABLY INSURER OF CAR
- What can happen to them? (like driver's license taken away etc.)
BOTH COULD SPEND TIME IN A JUVENILE FACILITY AND 17 YO COULD (SHOULD) HAVE LICENSE SUSPENDED
A court will take care of it but I want to know what they can do to them
THAT IS ONLY PART OF IT, DEPENDING ON STATE AND HISTORY OF GIRLS.

The parents will have to pay the medical bills. Why? Because the 15 yr. old is considered a minor. As for what crimes they committed, you'll have to check with the state that they live in. Each state is different.

The parents of the 17-yr-old may also face a lawsuit from not only the injured guy, but their own insurance company!

Driving without a license, Assault with a deadly weapon
I am sure there are other things as well

17 yr old should get medal for worlds biggest idiot!
