Can a lawyer in the USA sue a company from another country?

can a lawyer in the USA sue a company from another country, without going to that country...and if your awarded money from a lawsuit and the company doesnt have insurance shouldnt they still have to pay...

Sure. As long as the foreign company does business in the United States.

Most major corporations have offices in the United States. Insurance really has nothing to do with it. However, most businesses doing business in the United States have liability insurance.

Your only concern would be whether you can collect a judgment. That should really not be a problem. Most companies doing business in the United States have bank accounts here. A judgment can always be levied against assets in the United States.

Yes an attorney can sue someone outside the united states, i would liook for an international law attorney, or a contracts attorney depending on what the suit is for. insurance doesnt have anything to do with paying a judgment. if there are "agreement papers signed then i would look at the agreement under RULE OF LAw, most have that clause, to see what is says about lawsuits and where the venue or jurisdiction would be set, according to the terms of the signed papers.

If the foreign company has "minimum contacts" with the USA, they can be sued in US federal courts.

But if you win, it can be tough to collect, no matter who they are and where they are.

If a defendant is responsible for a wrong, they should pay whether or not they have insurance. But they might not have the money.

A lawyer is licensed to practice in various jurisdictions. If they are licensed in the jurisdiction that has authority over the dispute, then they may. Otherwise, no.

Having insurance has nothing to do with if they have to pay or not. The judgement is against them. They have to pay. If they have insurance to cover it, good for them.
