Unemployment question poll?

This question was inspired by the person who inquired what would happen to her fradulent friend who was collecting unemployment while working.
I like many other people have been working and paying taxes all my life. I have been working full time at the same job for the past 34 years and pryor to that 3 years worth of part time jobs, all on the books, as a kid. A percent of my pay has gone for unimployment insurance for 37 years and I have never collected a benifit. Does anyone feel that hard working individuals who never stop working should maybe get some kind of rebate or reparations at the end of their working career when they retire?
If yes, I feel your pain.
If no, at least thank us for the money we provide for those who are on the receiving end, all to often fraudulently, like the person who inspired this question

Good for you.. Consider yourself lucky to never have had the need for those benefits..

I'd say it was harassment. If you're in a union, talk to your rep. If not, find out what the appeal procedure is (it should be in your staff handbook) and put in an appeal.
