Should health insurance be covering this..?

if you were injured by a doctor and needed surgery to correct your injuries, should your insurance be covering this

I've heard many conflicting answers
thanks,,

Your health insurance should cover any necessary surgeries, but then would have a claim against the doctor for subrogation. It would depend on your actual policy language, but I would think all medically necessary procedures would be covered. It depends on how the injury occurred and what sort of surgery is needed for correction, in terms of how it could be characterized by either side.

I would think the doctors insurance should cover it unless your insurance is going to go after his for coverage.

it not only depends on what the injury was/ when it happen but also on the helath care plan you have
