Can just anyone take out a life insurance policy on you without your knowledge? Every life insurance policy requires a signature by the person being covered.A reputable insurance salesman will be sure the signature is valid. Your signature can be forged, but if that can be proven, then the policy is no good and will not pay . yes if they know your personal information they can do wherever they want credit cards , loans , life insurance and much more so you need to b carefully whit your personal information Some policies require a physical exam. Some don't. Some lower pay off policies only ask a few questions but SS # is required. If all done on paper mail fax, then they dont know who signed, but may get caught later someway. *mamatx Yes, im not sure, but i know a married and soon-to-be-divorced couple and the girls husband just took out a life insurance policy on her.
