I just recieved a subpoena to be a witness in an insurance fraud case, what usually happens?

They want you to tes-ti-fy, are you gonna do it?

They won't be sa-tis-fied, until you do it.

They want you to testify.

You have to testify truthfully the facts you know about the fraud case..........

Usually, the case is delayed, continued, rescheduled, delayed again, until the defendant and DA eventually reach a plea agreement.

Save yourself some aggravation. Ask the DA to place you "on call."

you'll be invited to go to the court to prove it

You will be given a deposition, asked under oath a bunch of questions, either recorded by a court reporter, or video taped. Then you will most likely be a witness in a court trial. You might be able to counter with them about getting money for your time being a witness.
