How come it's wrong to keep money you find but it's OK to sue insurance companies?

when you get in a car accident and you are not really hurt.suing for the wrong reason is acceptable but keeping what you find is always sooo wrong.

Suing for the wrong reason is only acceptable for unethical people.

Both are wrong.

A man in California recently found $140,000 accidentally lost from Armored Truck and turned the bag in to the police.

I had $38,000 deposited by error in Merrill Lynch account during 1980's and reported in to Merill Lynch.

What makes you think the people who sue for insurance claim under false pretenses would not keep found money?

Sometimes they get caught after settlement doing unbelievably stenuous work that would be impossible with claimed disabilities.

If I find a gold nugget in ground or lost pirate treasure I am keeping all of it except for taxes.

Got to say that, it's true though, do not want to make IRS suspicious.

Heard of one ethically star-crossed person who filled out honest employment application with complete name and address, phone, and then robbed the place.

I also know that some people equate ethical with stupid.

Must admit it may apply to that robber, above.

I do not believe it is ok.........insurance fraud.

Neither is ethical. Also, when you are involved in a car accident, most people think they are suing the insurance company. They are not. The defendants are the owner and operator of the at fault vehicle. The insurance company defends them pursuant to the terms of the policy.

because it is not acceptable. Only dishonest, trashy people sue when they know they are lying about the injury
