Do you see more forced spending from the government? |
I am legally forced to buy car insurance, mortgage insurance, homeowners insurance, donations through property taxes already. With this healthcare issue on the horizen will we be forced soon to buy medical insurance? How much power does the government have to enforce these purchases on us and how far can it go? Yes, that's what one should expect on our long, slow slide into socialist serfdom. You are not forced to buy car insurance, you only have to if you want the privilege of driving a car, and the insurance is to protect your fellow drivers. Unfortunately we are headed for a socialist state where the government redistributes our money among everyone. |
