What if you didn't know your license was suspended? |
About a year ago I was pulled over and got a ticket for no proof of insurance. My husband was out of work and my insurance had lapsed. I had to make a choice and it was the wrong one and I know it. I got insurance, paid my fine and court costs graciously and got my license back. The judge told me I had 2 years of supervision and to be sure I carry insurance at all times. NO PROBLEM! It sounds like a glitch in the paperwork- Only the DMV can tell you what happened and correct it. Make sure you have all of your documentation with you when you call or go by. Dates, times, paperwork, etc. Only the dmv can tell you why. |
