So someone did a hit&run on my parked car two weeks ago? |
and they got the owner of the vehicle . my insurance company called her and she said she dont have insurance and the police sent her a letter stating she did a hit and run and to go to the police department. She hasnt done it ..i got her address should i go and talk to her or can i get in alot of trouble if she says im harrassing her?? Don't go to her house. Keep pressing the police department to follow up with her. Also make a claim with your insurance company and let your insurance company sue this lady. Don't go to her home--it's risky, and what good would it do you anyway? Leave it for the police. If you have no-fault insurance, your car will get fixed anyway. The police know where she lives, and if she keeps avoiding it, she'll just get into bigger trouble. You don't need to do a thing for this to happen. Talking to the person one time is not harrassment by any definition. So the answer to your question is no. YES you rly need a lawer tho i hope all goes well and you win the battel (in court) leave her alone, it will just cause more trouble.. Get a lawyer to talk to her. get lawyer time, sue the person |
