My lawyer asked me to accept and sign my release in full form, If I don't sign...how can I be affected ? |
I had an accident last year and I hired a Lawyer to claim a money compansation from the other car insurance because I had to go to the chiropractic, I couldn't work in my part time job (requested from my Doctor), after they fixed my car I had to take my car to the mecanic due to some suspension problem but, this Lawyer refused to ask more money from the other car Insurance Company and asked me to close my case and sign the closing form wich means I will only get $950 dollars. Contact The Law Bar For You State. I can tell you what I would do. I would tell you to sign another form and that one would be a release from representation which means I won't deal with you any longer. However, once you find another attorney to deal with the insurance company, I will still get a percentage of the settlement so in the long run you may end up with even less money. |
