Attourney company to help when worker's comp has denied? |
my uncle was hurt at work while working on an air conditioner at our new city hall. he broke his back in a few places and has had a few surgeries for it. the doctors that were helping him also found something wrong with his neck that needed to be fixed. he was supposed to be flied to a larger hospital, but a different doctor came in and told him he wasn't going anywhere. this is in the dallas area, and the neck injury was caused by a fall off of a ladder at work. Unanimity among lawyers is rare. There's probably a reason for it in your uncle's case. Perhaps I am interpreting the question wrong. Did workers comp deny the claim for the broken back or for the 'something wrong with his neck'.? If the later, was it related to the broken back, was it a pre-existing issue? Is it possible the neck problem CAUSED your uncle to break his back? Did the attorneys address these questions? If ALL the attorneys refused the represent him, I suspect he has no case. Most areas have at least ONE attorney that will take ANY case. Location please Your employer will have to file a denial with the DWC. |
