I lost my cell phone!?

Its a verizion motorola black cell phone. No insurance. I remember having it during my art exam...they told us to shut off our phones and put them in our bookbags. i did that. then when it was over i took it out and hid it under my hoody. looked at it if anyone sent me any messages it said very low battery then we started to pack up...I found out at lunch it wasnt in my purse i figured it was in my backpack so i didnt worry. then when i got home i searched my backpack wasnt there. the next day we still had different exams but i went back and searched the art room wasnt there. Im in high school. Do you think someone stole it? Also theres this kid that sits next to me who likes to take my purse (he always gives it back he's just playing) do think he could've took it and forgot to tell me? Or maybe i carried my hoody and it dropped out in the hall. idk. If you found a cell phone with no battery at school would you give it to the office?

Ok, I'm sorry you lost your phone but things like that happen. In my class, theres a girl who likes doing what the guy in your class does, except she takes my wallet. She once took my wallet for a day and I thought I'd lost it. But it turns out she had it. If you don't find it, don't worry about it. Don't go and block the phone because what's that going to achieve. Just move on and buy a new phone.

I would turn it in, but when I was in high school someone stole my palm pilot. I was pist! SO, better go buy a new phone! People can buy cheap batteries for those things and if you don't shut down the phone, can change the number and use it. If you go and tell them it was stolen, they can tell if someone tries to activate it. I have verizon, and always buy pre paid phones from target, then call 1-800-922-0204 to activate it. if you go into a store they won't do it for you, because they want you to get a new 2 year contract.
