How can I retrieve a phone number if it is showing on my caller ID as Unavailable? I have Sprint service.? |
I have been receiving very rude and harassing telemarketing calls from someone trying to tell me that I have free health insurance. The callers have very strong Indian accents. The problem I am running into is that the caller ID on my cell phone shows Unavailable ID when they call and Sprint cannot trace the number for 30+ days. I need to figure out who these people are so I can report them to the FTC. Any advise would be helpful. Thanks! Do not answer the call from your Sprint cellphone, unless a number shows up. PRIVATE or UNAVAILABLE means they are either very far away (another country) or are purposely blocking their number. Or, ask for their number to call them back. Or, ask if they're calling about the '68 Chevelle you have for sale in the Bargain Mart paper, because 'you've had a lot of calls about it', and try to sell them something back. That usually makes them hang up. |
