I was at a house party and was hit in the face with a bat by a drunk resulting in surgery and 20k in med bills |
The person that hit me has no money. How do I prove neglagence againts the homeowner insurance of the house this happened at? Why are you trying to figure this out? This is what you have an attorney for. You need an attorney to help you with this. Thats your lawyers job. yeah u need a lawyer get an attorney and let them take care of all the legalities. That is what they are trained for. Besides if the person has no money, that is your only hope of getting anything and a lot of lawyers will work for a percentage of the settlement which tells you you have a good case if they are willing to take it. It's easy. Was the person who hit you while drunk underage? If so, that would be negligence on the homeowners part. Why are you trying to go after the homeowner insurance. Is the person that hit you the owner of the house. I hate to say this but nobody forced you to go to the house party and stuff like that happens. If you didn't have insurance you should of thought twice about going. The guy that hit you with the bat is totally responsible so if he does own the house than do what you got to do if not the tough cookies. you can't, and thats whaot you get by showing poor judgement and going to a house party. what did you expect tea and cakes? if there "if booze flowing there will be ignorance and anger showing".lol! take your lumps and learn a life lesson, quit trying to make a buck everyone who didn't hit you withthe bat. either go to court with Babe Ruth Jr or drop the thing completly. an attorney will help you with this. |
