My car was broken into and the radio and all of my cds are gone,?

we called the police,filed a report and thats it. but i still feel like more should be done. my insurance wont cover it. and im angry as hell. i feel violated and i have no money to pay for the damages. what do i do!!!!!!

What do you mean your insurance won't cover it. Man did you get majorly RIPPED OFF.

Good thing you didn't have your apple laptop or a suitcase full of clothes in there...that would have cost you a FORTUNE. Be grateful it's just cds.

But yes, you do feel violated. Been robbed a couple of times but my insurance covered it.

Always make sure you have REPLACEMENT value insurance too or they depreciate everything you bought and you get $10 for something you paid $1000 two years ago.

A good alarm goes a long way, ditto on the house...I'll never get why people would rather have a gun than an alarm system either.

You learn a lesson. Should have gotten a security system and not stored valuables in your car.

The cops will do what they can but these kind of crimes are really hard to solve.

i would also suggest replacement insurence as the first answer said. i had my care broken into before and had a pair of prescription sunglasses stollen as well as a pair of shoes. my doors were even locked. my house was also broken into and i was home in the shower at the time but luckily nothing was stollen and no one was hurt. i know the feeling. i think u learned a lesson and maybe get an alarm system for your car at least.

That's pretty much all you can do. Kind of sucks, but that's life in the big city.

also what is your insurance plan? the really basic ones don do anything

Sorry sweetie--ya just gotta take the hit...I know it sux but learn from your mistakes---next time buy a removable face stereo and keep stuff outta sight. I live in south Fla. and it's real bad down here--they kill you for stuff--even in Boca Raton!

This did happen to my son years ago and he had his car window broken and some things stolen from his car. It taught him a lesson to be sure to pay extra for the special insurance that will replace valuables that can be stolen from your car. I would call your insurance back and since you did file a police report ask them to reconsider your claim. You can appeal the denial of your claim. Good Luck.......................................
