I caused an accident and the officer said it was my fault because I was speeding. Can I lose my license? |
I made a wide turn (broken power steering pump) during the rain. I hit the brakes but drove into the next lane of oncoming traffic and a SUV hit me. We exchanged insurance information and she called the police. The officer said that it was my fault for speeding (she wrote on the ticket: 35mph in 30 mph zone). This is my first offense but I wonder what they'll do to me because I'm a minor. Will I lose my license or will I just have to pay? as long as you can legally drive they wont take it, if its your first offense it will be a point or two on your liscense i believe you need five to get it taken away, and you have to be atleast 20 mph over for them to take your liscense just because of speeding, its 24 mph in GA i dont know where your at, you will just get a fine and your isurance will go through the dam room, thats the ball buster not the ticket I'm betting they pull your license. Usual after a minor is involved in an accident |
