What is with the cutsieness about being victimized by identity theft in the media?

People who perpetrate or facilitate this crime should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, and this 'revictimizaion' of the victim needs legislative scrutiny, possibly considered as a hate crime against people who have already been victimized.

Since when do we make fun of victims? Commercials with retarded jingles about how someone has to work in a sh*t hole or drive a POS because they were victimized and so forth?

This is self-promotional BS from credit bureaus, online marketers, and endless-niche-searching insurance companies.

Why stop here? why not make fun of the casualties of war? or victims of serial killers and rapists? Furthermore, why don't we let the serial killers and rapists themselves do the mocking?

People need to wake up and reject this kind of garbage on the airwaves.

I don't know but you make a good point. That does su**. Thanks for pointing it out. Not sure what can be done about it. Let us know if you think of anything. I'll tell you what, though. I'll make it a point not to use that ecreditreport.com just because you posted this. Can I say that?

Yah, tell me about it. I am so sick of ANY commercial these days that when the commercials come on, I actually turn the tv right OFF.

It's ridiculous.......I bet these companies aren't thinking about these innocent people. They just pull actors off the street to make stupid commercials. And then they think the public actually WANTS to hear these things! Ahhhhh!!!

Though these are annoying as hell, I gotta say I'm more sick of hearing **** about Maxiderm and all that ED garbage.
