What are the chances that I could my court date continued in wake county court for driving with out insurance ? To have more time to come up with the money to pay everything that day?

what about the court cost too not just the fines??

You don't need a continuance for that and they're rarely granted in traffic court anyway. Instead, the judge will send you to the clerks office to work out a payment schedule for the fine. Explain that you don't have the funds to pay it all right now, and estimate how long it will take you (try to keep it under 90 days). In nearly all cases this is perfectly fine.

I think you'll need a better reason than that; but try it.,
