Texas traffic violation/driving without a license and allwing a minor to drive? |
So I made a huge mistake and let my kid sister drive my car which she crashed into the side of a building, I put the building through my insurance with only has one other car accident on it, I'm afraid they might drop me, do you think they will... and then my sister and I also got a ticket each, hers was driving without a license and mine is allowing an unlicensed driver to drive... does anyone have ANY clue on how much these might be, I cant call them because they wont have our paper work for another week, Is it completely at the judges discretion? even if it is has this happened to where you might know of how much it might cost... please help I'm completely distraught over this I was looking and this happened in San Antonio if that helps any but I did happen to find something that said it was $217.00 in Waco, Texas... should I take it that it just might be around that price? The judge has nothing to do with whether the insurance company will drop you or raise your rates - that's completely up to them and what the law allows them to do in Texas. Some companies will drop for any accident, no matter how minor (if they're allowed to), while others just raise your rates for a few years. Ask your agent or company. |
