Accident and bad cop making matters worse? |
I got into an accident that was 100% the other person's fault but the police officer wrote a police report in favor of this person who hit me.The head police officer saw this report and decides it was a bias report but cant do anything because it has already been written. Now i dont have a car and this other persons insurance is after me. Pleas what can i do Contact internal affairs ,tell them the situation. It might be worth it to see a lawyer. It might cost money, but sometimes it will save you a lot on the insurance, and also, if you ever get another ticket, having those first charges against you and on your driver's record will influence the way the law views you if something else happens. Contact your police department's ombudsman. They can address issues like this. but you had no insurance a month ago,,, |
