If the cop didn't arrest us does that mean were off the hook? |
Me (24) and my boyfriend (20) were caught having sex in his truck at 3am a couple days ago. The cop dident really ask me anything but questioned my boyfriend and checked his ID, registration, insurance, ect.. Then gave him his infromation and told him it would be wise to leave. He dident write us any kind of ticket/warning or police report. Does this mean were probably not going to be charged with anything? You are good to go! No problem. In that situation, about the worst you could be accused of is public indecency or loitering, both small fines. And since he didn't write you up, you are scot-free! Consider yourself lucky! However, while you were not technically cited, it could come up again if the officer was to run a check of the bf's license, so definitely don't do it again. Report It nope lol You're free & clear if he didn't give you a ticket on scene. It's not technically illegal to have sex in a truck, but he could have cited you with public indecency or indecent exposure or even disturbing the peace. Well, no, if he didn't arrest you. the cops will turn that in to the the local newspaper, so you should tell all your friends and your mom about this before they see it on tv, on animal planet.....lol.............. It's cool your off the hook. you lucked out...he might have given other cops your plate.............you might not be lucky next time......... N...I....C....E!!!!! I wouldn't worry about it. Sounds like he gave you a break and told you to just leave. If he was going to ticket you he would have done it on the spot. Haha. Yes it sounds like you're off the hook. YOU are of the hook. You are only in trouble when they write u the ticket. So next time watch out you may get a ticket and i believe in some states it carries jail time so be careful yes. as there is nothing on record, u are off the hook. as u were having sex in a secluded place and not publicly, it appears that u did not commit any offence under law. I would say most likely yes, you won't likely face any charges. |
