Will my Michigan driving record follow me to Illinois? |
My Michigan license has been suspended for not paying a no proof of insurance ticket in time. Its kind of odd because I didnt even know my license was suspended because i have been living in IL for over a year but anytime it was ran it never came back as suspended but apparantly michigan had it as suspended. Right now I have to get that cleared up before illinois will give me a license. Once I get that taken care of and I switch to an Illinois license will my Michigan record follow me or will I have a clean slate? Any tickets or violations you have anywhere in the US will follow you to any state. |
