Insurance company allowed to hire and send contractor to damaged property without consent of property owner? |
If an insured property is damaged, is the insurance company permitted to choose and send a contractor to repair the premises without first obtaining the consent of the insured? Read your policy. no, contact your states insurance dept and file a complaint I don't think so. Check with the State Department of Insurance. |
