Auto insurance PIP claim HELP?

I was in a small accident that at the time I thought I was fine until 3 days later I started to have pain in my back finally after 6 days I couldn't take it any more and whent to the E.R and later followed up with a Dr that did an MRI and says that he is seeing degeneration of the spine (HUH) I have never had back pain.

So with this info what is the auto insurance co going to say. This really has me upset.

You should be covered, after all it is personal injury protection.
