Pregnant/insurance/child support question?

I got pregnant in Indianapolis In. I moved from there to Tennessee. I didn't want to marry the babies daddy. So I moved back in with my parents. My question is this....I have to fill out a absent parent form stating who the father is. I am thinking that I have to do this is because if it turns out (after DNA) that it is his baby then they will make him pay out of his pocket. Is this true? Will they(medicaid) go after him to pay all the bills for this baby? I don't have job and I don't have insurance. I am on WIC, Medicaid and food stamps. Also will they (medicaid) be the one to go after him for child support or do I have to do that separately? I want him to pay for his child monthly but I don't want him to have to pay for the baby being born.

Let the father of your child acknowledge or recognize it in the birth certificate so that he will be force to support the child through a court proceeding.

Contact your local district attorneys office. If it's his, he will have 18+ years of misery...

He should pay for the baby being born, we didn't take you to bed. Why should honest, hardworking tax-payers have to foot the bill.

So you would rather have the taxpayers pay for the birth of your child? I for one am getting tired of paying for everyone else's children when I have a hard enough time supporting my own.
He should be paying for the birth of his child. If you are on Medicaid, which I pay for, they may go after him for repayment. If you get welfare after the baby is born, they will go after him for that also. In order to get taxpayer funded benefits you have to name the father. The state will want to be reimbursed for the benefits you receive.
