Fake national insurance number! tax law!!? |
does anybody know the policy and legeslation under which the inland revenue deals with cases of people that are found having an illegally acquired national insurance number. english law is preferred! An illegally obtained NIN will always remain illegal. But first you have to explain what do you mean by an "illegally obtained" NIN. The only defense a person can take is that it has acted in good faith and is not aware that it is legal or illegal. However, ignorance of law is no excuse but bona fide people may be excluded. |
