Scenario: Driving without a license, insurance, underage.? |
What if I were pulled over for driving without a license and without insurance, and underage. Your age could be a factor. You would receive at least 3 citations. Original violation, operating a motor vehicle without a license providing you're old enough to obtain one, no insurance. You're parents could be cited for allowing an unlicensed to drive, if that were the case. Your driving privileges could be suspended for an undetermined amount of time. Fines could be quite high. Possible loss, or rate hike in insurance. You would be screwed by 1) your parents 2) cops and the courts 3) Insurance company Your done driving for the night. you would get tickets for no inusrance, no license, you would probably be taken to juvenile holding center/jail. your parents would be contacted to pick you up, the car might be impounded since there would be no one to drive it after you get arrested. if the cop is nice he may call your parents to come and pick you up instead of taking you to the holding center, but you will probably still get tickets! its a loose-loose situation!! The cops would really nail you on that one. Just the driving without insurance is TONS of money plus loss of your license for a year. Then when you add on the other stuff, let's just say you'll be in debt up to minimum $1500 on top of the loss of license. Your parent siwll most likely have court costs and other fees to pay on top of your traffic fines. |
