B/f was in car wreck, who was at fault? how will our insurance determine this? |
okay, my b/f was in a wreck last friday...no one was injured, and everyone drove away from the scene, went to another location and talked it over. the accident occured because he was exiting a highway...while on exiting, he noticed that car B was trying not to hit car A, but car B hit car A. he couldnt move over to other side because its an exit ramp and other cars were coming up behind him, so he slammed on his brakes, hitting car B. keep in mind that car B hit car A. car B damaged her front, while my b/f (car C) damaged her trunk. car C's hood and bumper was smashed. how will the insurance determine who was at fault. it was his understanding that he would help to fix car B's trunk, and she agreed, but now they have called our insurance company and filed a claim. i think that car B should be responsible for her front damage and not rely on our insurance to pay for the entire damage. we didnt call our insurance company because we are paying for our own damage. any advice will help.thnx we live in ky, which ky is a no fault state Your boyfriend is at fault for the second accident, where he hit the rear-end of car B. He was following too close and did not allow adequate room around him. Well considering you all left the scene will be hard to get a police report accurate. if the cops were not called it was a big mistake because now he left the seen of an accident the people who called your insurance company will get there car fixed and probably more because they can claim they have a injury never the less the insurance will go up. In the further you B/F should call the cop's even if it was just a bump to protect himself was car A in the middle of the high way so then carB had to of hit carA if it was in the middle of the high way |

You have a computer problem, or someone else is messing with you. If they have taken over your computer they have had to install software to do it. You may want to review what is on your machine.... What will you do if a dog you are walking kills a child? Or gets hit by a car? If you are running a business, unfortunatly, you need some insurance coverage ...Yes, this can be fought and won. First, take the car to an independant body shop and get their best estimate, in fact, two or three might even be better. Now, who is at fault in this accident, ... I find it very strange that atty settling with ins co. has not already advised you in this regard. Normally, civil suit follows criminal prosecution. Did you change your mind about prosecuting?
