I was hit by a drunk driver who HAD insurance. My neck was hurt and he hurt my new car.? |
He had insurance, I had liability. He was arrested on the spot. My question is, how does pain and suffering work? How much can I get? I went to the hospital and my neck is hurt. Besides getting my car fixed and medical bills paid, can I get pain and suffering? I didnt know how that works... Thanks This happened tonight. He has Nation Wide and this was his 2nd DUI. It was at 3pm in the middle of the day... Get a personal injury attorney now. The other driver's insurance company will try to pay you as little as possible. Without having a lawyer review everything, you may find out too late that that paper you signed to get your car fixed also waived your right to collect anything else from them. don't be such a baby. So this cool dude had a few brewskis, why are you being so uptight? dont put it off put in a claim now or forever hold your piece. call a lawyer... if the guy had insurance they will prob have to pay ya... Contact an attorney. Don't just pick one out of a phone book. Go to one you trust and they can refer you to a good personal injury attorney. If you don't know any lawyers contact your local bar association. Or call your insurance agent and see if they have one they can recommend. You are entitled to have your car fixed and medicals bills paid, if he was at fault for the accident. |
