Look at all the problems THEY cause, Healthcare,
Law suits, Promises made with no intention of ever keeping them. I could go on all day.
If Congress were worth a lick, something would be done!

Insurance has become a cash cow because the original concept has been thrown away - mutual protection in case of catastrophe.

When Wall Street gets involved, insurance becomes increasing revenues and profits.

Didn't you know. There are many many politicians who have their hands in the insurance companies. They love their profits. I ride a scooter and I was paying $50 a year for insurance but all at once when the government made it mandatory to have insurance my insurance shot up to $176 a year.

I could not agree more! Not only health insurance, but also car insurance. Insurance rates are st initially to make a profit, otherwise why be in business? Yet if you God forbid do have an accident or tickets, your rates go up. Now I can call this allot of things, one being a shame and another being a rip off !

One man's lawsuit it another man's scam. For example, Judge Bork railed against lawsuits by lawyers such as ones that John Edwards represented. But when he fell of a stage because he was to close to the edge, guess what , he has filed a lawsuit. So I guess when it was for others it was a scam, but for the well connected and wealthy it is a right of passage

It is my belief that all Humans should be taken care of when they are injured or sick.
