Are insurance companies required to cover water damage from fire? |
Yes, we have fire insurance, but the insurance company is not wanting to pay for that. The answer is - it depends on what is in your policy. In virtually every case, however, your propery insurer should cover water damage caused by (or resulting from) a fire.
