If a insurance policy due to mature is still in maden name what do i do because i have married?

stacy b seems to be think tip and tuck job like hers

What does this mean to you can you explain?

Gee I wonder who voted for this non-sensical answer? Report It

You should just have to write to the insurance company explaining the situation and enclose a copy of your marriage certificate (or they may want the original - you'll have to check). Mind you, Ken, I didn't realise that men changed their name when they got married.

Call them and tell them you've changed your name.

Call the insurance company and ask them.

PANIC!!!!!

send them a letter telling them you got married send a copy of your marriage certificate, informing them of your new last name. Or you could call them and tell them what happened, and ask what they need to change the last name on the policy

you just produce your marraige certificate too

Ring them first - ask their advice - if you send a letter first off there is a risk it could get lost, at least if you phone & explain first they can tell you exactly what you need to do and who to contact!

Just write to them with a copy of your marriage certificate and get it changed like you would with the bank or anything else.

My wife did it when we got married several years ago, she got her policy paid out to her 3 months ago no problems, cheque written in her married name etc.

Its not a issue at all.
