Do attorney's charge fees for an initial consult? Specifically, Immigration attorneys.? Usually not. They certainly can't charge you if you call them to ask whether or not they'll charge for the initial consultation. Don't know about immigration specifically. It depends on the individual attorney, but the answer is going to be yes the majority of the time. Attorneys don't generally work for free. Many will allow a half hour consultation but don't expect any legal answers from this. They will advise you as to if they think they can win for you. Some do and some do not. Call a few and ask them. |
