What EU laws have been detrimental to England/UK?

In particular, I am interested about crime and immigration.

The law that allowed our country to be overrun by Eastern Europeans.

The free movement of labour has been detrimental to the normal person of the UK. If you just look at the GDP increase it is a benefit to the UK PLC.

Free movement obviously allows criminals free access to the member states, so like any economic movement if the pickings are better (or the police are after you in your own country) they will move.

A decade or more ago you had pick pocketing gangs flying into London for weekend of rich pickings.

For a 'minor' crime a foreign national will not be locked up before trail, so they tend to abscond to another member state before trial.

The recent explosion in postal costs and closure of Post Offices has been caused by the EU's directive that the monopoly of the Royal Mail must be broken. The Dutch TNT and German DHL companies have cherry-picked the most profitable services, leaving the Royal Mail with the unprofitable parts.
The loss of Post Offices has reduced Community Spirit and contributed to the subsequent fracturing of society.

I thinkit may be easier to say which laws passed by EU have not been detrimental. I can't think of any of those.

The bill on Human Rights where we cannot deport known terrorists!
