Do you think immigration laws are strict enough???

i think they could be a little bit more strict but some of my friends think they let far to many immigrents in to britain and another friend believes they should let more in.

Well if you go around the world starting wars and killing people you have to provide asylum for the refugees.. IF you don't then the decent nations of the world are going to get really annoyed when they have to take the refugees you create.

The other motivation is people here are fed up the average person is struggling like hell to buy a house etc... The people they allow will settle for much less because they are accustomed to less..

Let me explain it in simple terms..

You go for a job but the job doesn't allow you to have a decent standard of living.. You say well i'll take it if you will consider paying me more.. They say screw you this guy will do it for less.. That guy has too he wants residency... So the government is basically saying screw the worker lets let the welthy business owners get richer buy the houses and then rent them out to those who can't afford mortgages... Then the people that are working pay the tax that pays the housing benefit to those who can't get work or are so sick of the crap wages they have give up.. Then this is the real beauty!! The kids that leave school are so fed up of the lack of opportunity they JOIN THE ARMY!!!! go to war... The wealth finaciers and arms companies make a fortune.. The people are too focused on external affiars to bother about the internal problems and the gap between rich and poor grows and gorws... Until the ownership of all property resides in the hands of the rich. It's all part of the greatest scam in history forget religion Cpaitalism is the greatest con in the history of mankind.. The great thing is everyoen thinks they are getting the better of the guy blelow them so they keep trying to get further up the ladder... But there is no ladder between the top of the worker and bourgeoise pile that leads to the elite -aristocracy.. there never was there never will be.. Not unless we remove them.. destroy the system... Stop immigration... stop working... Close it all down and say it is over the system has failed.. We are not your slaves.

In essence NO they are too relaxed and based on a flawed ideological strategy.
U.K law allows anyone to enter Britain and declare themsleves to be oppressed in thier home country, which means that our tax money is then spent housing, educating and feeding a parasite. Until such time as the authorities manage to dig up enough to prove that the individual is in fact a wanted criminal who has gone to ground in our country when he got word of his deportation hearing.
People who are not legitimate or of dubious character should be housed in a prison style environment until their case is proven. No state assistance should be offered unless they are able to provide reasurance of an ability to contribute to our society. We are bleeding from a self made wound and our children will pay for our folley

The laws really need to be enforced. I think that we should not only go after the illegal aliens but the companies and people who employ them. It is a difficult situation because the system is over loaded. The solution is not an easy one but this problem must be addressed. I think we need to over haul the laws and enforcement of them.

there are far too many immigrants in britain, thats why britain is in so much trouble now, increace in violence, over crowded prisons, hospitals cant cope and schools are having too take on supply teachers cause the real teachers cant cope. And the goverment wont listen,or they are listening to the wrong people.

they are no way near strict enough. fortunately most of the eastern europeans are going back but they need to be tighter on the laws. they should only let in skilled immigrants who can speak english. most of them take what they can from this country and then f**k off which is wot they r doing now.

they dont rly take all the jobs. most r on benefits so they are skipping the job part and just taking the money. if there werent so many our economy would drop and if u want the s**t jobs they have u dont rly have much ambition

In America they need to be very strict.

The way to remove them, and it can be done look up "Operation *******" It was in the 50's.

Let them protest in the streets, then hit them with CS gas and water cannons. Bring them to the desert point them south and let them walk home. And so we do not break up families, send the kids born her back also. Let mexico deal with them.

Blair signed away our right to restrict access to E.U. citizens, so unless you want to leave the E.U. we can do nothing about the Eastern Europeans. I think most will go home as their own economy's pick up to be honest.

There is no reason why we should be admitting unskilled non-E.U. immigrants, and health tourists. Skilled immigrants should be restricted to areas where there are shortages and exceptional cases. The argument that mass immigration is good for the economy is stupid. It is only being used to cover up the governments total incompetence when it comes to immigration control.

Health tourism is a scandal which hasn't really made the headlines yet, but it soon will. There is no system in place to prevent people getting off a plane and getting free NHS treatment or natal care then returning straight home. It is costing the NHS many millions, clogging up the system and threating the lives of many unborn children who shouldn't be flying.

I am not against genuine assylum cases which should be treated sympathetically. That is a seperate issue.

of course not!... it is unacceptable that inmigrants have to pass through all that kind of prosses.
even when people try to have a vacation travel they have to pass through lot of problems just because of stupid laws... stop being so selfish .... just think how it would be if you have a problem and need to immigrate somewhere... im sure you would like it to be easier .
they dont immigrate for use your spaces or anything ... they are just trying to find a better life and a better future.
well but thats just my opinion ...
take care.

You seem to have the same problem in Britain as we have in the US. The laws are perfectly viable, it's just that lazy and/or inept politicians fail to enforce them.

they are actually a lot stricter than people think - the media often blows it out of proportion. But i do think that the existing laws do need to be enforced more effectively across the board

strict enough are you kidding if you can run, jump or crawl you can come her

The Immigration law in England is a joke, the policy seems to be Let any ****** in

No, immigration laws in United States are not strict enough.

They could be a lot stricter and it would help if they were actually enforced.

no they shouldn't let them in unless they can speak almost perfect english. thay takar jobs!

They are not strict enough!
