Should the countries of North America standardize their immigration laws? |
We could all learn from Mexicos immigration policies. This is one of those "Do as I say, Not as I do" situations. I say, let's adopt word for word Mexicos immigration policies and see how they would react. They already call us racist. So what do we have to lose? I Love it!!!!!!!!!! If the US changed our immigration laws to more in line with mexico the US would be called racists and inhumane. The US Government gives way to many rights to those who break the law be it illegal immigrants, DUI, or 1st degree murder. To fix the illegal immigrant problem is the same resolution to most other crimes. be alot harder on them and less to no rights to criminals. We offer a cushy prison system thats often better then where many of the criminals would be on the street, same for our illegal immigrant detention centers. Be humane but they don't need fluff and cush areas. Show real penalties for not following the law. No. Each country, including the US has a right to protect its own borders. Countries can negotiate with each other to allow immigration. No country has a right to send its people to another country without meeting the legal requirements of the receiving country. I'd also note, after seeing all the Mexican flags being carried in immigration rallies here yesterday, that if you fly a US flag in a protest march in Mexico it's a Federal crime, and you go to prison. no way Jose. They would call us racists and say "But, that's DIFFERENT...That's US". No way !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... we do need to get it under control |
