Standpoint on immigration?

pick an option
1 open door policy let everyone in and let them come to america since we are still a growing country but they will most likely destroy america they wqill hold low income jobs live in bad place bring the projects to nice towns and then aamericans in poverty wont be able to support themselves becasue of the taxes

Only take what we need
only allow SKILLED workers that we really need for example we need 100000 lawyers but there are only 80000 american lawyers so we take 20000 lawyers from other countries that are smart and are not a waste. this can cause problems in america such as faimlies that live hear and now there relatives that are not skilled cant come to america I like this one

option 3
restrict illegal immigration

4 work with other countries
we clean up cpuntries and try to make them nice places to live in.

pick one then state your own opinion on immigration and its affects in the 2008 presidential campaign.

Option 2 wins the prize. As much as I hate to see the best-paying jobs go to foreigners, we need to fill those positions. The blame goes to the US education system, which should but does not encourage its best students to pursue technological subjects.

Relation-based immigration, as in the 1965 bill, only leads to more people on medicaid and other forms of welfare, and a further strain on education; legalizing current sneakacrosses would do the same.

Since Tancredo (whom I hated on all other issues) left the race, there has been no other candidate, Democrat or Republican, willing to address the problem adequately.
